10th Annual Keystone Open IFH Championship

Tournament Information:
Indoor field hockey is back to York when Keystone State Games is hosting 80 teams in the 10th Annual Keystone Open IFH Championship at the York Expo Arena in York, PA on Saturday December 7, 2019 and is a USA Sanctioned Event!!! The tournament will be played in the York Expo Arena on the York Fairground and will utilize six full-sized courts of Sport Court flooring with state-of-the-art Aluminum Sideboards by Elixer Sports Equipment.
This event will prepare your team for the indoor qualifier season as well as give your athletes an advantage and the confidence they need playing in a big arena like the NIT. Run by an experienced staff and filled with high quality, professional officials for every game.
ELIGIBILTY: Athletes based on divisions described below (Eligibility will follow the FIH Guidelines and male athletes are eligible to play in the divisions allowed by USA FH)

LOCATION: York Expo Arena, 331 Carlisle Ave., York, PA 17403
DATE: Competition will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019. All teams will play a minimum of 4 games and a maximum of 7 games during the event.
DIVISIONS: U12 (10 teams), U14 (18 teams), U16 (28 teams), U19 (24 teams) – Total teams - 80
TEAM RANKINGS: Teams will have the opportunity to rank their own level of skill during the registration process and we will match as best as possible even level skilled teams within each pool. We want you to have the opportunity to improve your athletes’ level of play as you begin the Indoor Season.
Athletes may play in multiple divisions AND on multiple teams within the same division, but must be listed on the roster at check-in before the start of competition. Director reserves the right to make changes to tournament and/or move a team to a different division, as needed
UMPIRES: This event is open to all US rated indoor umpires; Level I, Level II, Level III. We encourage strong Level I and II umpires to attend. Registration will be capped at 40 umpires. Contact Cindy Raney at or 610-781-2124.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

Pool play to seed for single elimination tournament

Four game guarantee
-
Games 25 minutes in length, games every 30 minutes

Five (5) players plus goalie on court, roster unlimited

Tie-breaker during single elimination – 3-player stroke off and then sudden death stroke

Roster due at check-in the day of the tournament – at least 45 minutes before 1st game - We recommend that you register your team 45 minutes before your first scheduled game. We will stay very close to being on time throughout the tournament but will move ahead of schedule when possible to account for overtime during the bracket portion of the tournament.

Teams will have the opportunity rank their own skill level
COST: $450 per team (online registration discounts and early registration discounts available)

BEST SAVINGS: Register EARLY ONLINE by Saturday November 2, 2019 and pay only $425 per team - that's a savings of $25 per team that is registered.
SAVINGS: Register EARLY ONLINE from Sunday November 3, 2019 - Wednesday November 20, 2019 and pay only $435 per team - that's a savings of $15 per team from original price

CANCELLATION POLICY: If the competition is held, as scheduled or rescheduled, there is no refund of the registration/finals fee. The option is the individual’s or team’s as to whether to compete or not. If the competition is cancelled, and not rescheduled, and there is no opportunity for the individual or team to compete, then there may be a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances. Refund considerations may require additional paperwork and will be reviewed after the completion of the competition.
